OUR FOUNDATION
The foundation of our belief is that The Eternal Son of God assumed
our flesh through His miraculous conception in the womb of the blessed
Virgin Mary. This event of God's plan for our salvation occurred
approximately two millennia ago. Thereafter, identified as Jesus the
Christ, being both true God and true Man, He was uniquely qualified to
be the Perfect Lamb of God; fulfilling all righteousness by His
suffering and death upon the cross for the sin of the world. His
Easter resurrection from death demonstrated that His work was victorious
and accepted by the heavenly Father. Jesus has paid the penalty for all
our sin, not merely some of our sins. This gives us the joyful and free
opportunity to live for God out of thanks and love; not insecure as to
whether we will be with Him in eternity. All this we know because the
Holy Spirit has enlightened our minds through the Holy and infallible
words He gave to the Prophets and Apostles.
